Saraswati Pooja Observed 2012

Saraswati Puja, one of the most important festivals of Nepal was celebrated in Calgary on February 16, 2013. The program was organized by the Literary Sub-Committee of the Nepalese Community Society of Calgary (NCSC) with huge participation of youths and children with parents who invoked the blessings of the goddess for success in learning, arts and crafts.
Saraswati known in different names is the goddess of learning, arts and crafts. Saraswati Pooja is celebrated on the fifth lunar day in Magh (Jan/Feb)
